Our Thoughts
After taking a small break from controlled naturals, we have been drawn back in after cupping this delightful Honduran from producer Yefry Ariel. Boasting big flavour we are reminded of dried strawberry sweetness, juicy red plums with gentle baking spice in the aftertaste.
We hope you enjoy this coffee as much as we do
Background
Yefry has grown up around coffee plants, being born on the same farm which he manages now. Not only does Yefry manage his farm, but also works as a microbiologist, which helps him to understand small organisms and how plants get their nutrients. Yefry’s farm is 18 hectares with plenty of shadow, mostly native bush and fruit trees, which he picks for himself and provides to his pickers during harvest season. Yefry is incredibly proud of his coffee farm and of his micro-lot selection.
